These terms govern your use of duskolicanin.com — a personal portfolio site operated by Dusko Licanin, a self-employed developer based in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Client work contracted through this site is governed by a separate written statement of work. Nothing here creates an engagement or binds me to deliver anything until we both sign that SOW.
1 — What this site is
A portfolio. The pages show past projects, writing, and services I offer as a senior full-stack engineer. By browsing, you get read-only access to content published here. You don't get the right to republish it without attribution, and you don't get the source code of the site or any demo unless explicitly stated.
2 — Acceptable use
You're welcome to:
- Read and share links to any public page.
- Quote short excerpts of my writing with a visible link back and proper attribution.
- Contact me using the emails and forms provided.
Don't:
- Scrape the site at rates that affect availability for other visitors.
- Republish whole articles, case studies, screenshots, or videos without written permission.
- Reverse-engineer project demos, decompile client apps linked from here, or try to access environments that aren't explicitly public.
- Use the site or my contact details to send unsolicited commercial offers, recruitment spam, or link-building requests.
3 — Intellectual property
All original text, photography, video, code, and design on this site are © Dusko Licanin unless another author is credited. Third-party marks (FlutterFlow, Firebase, Stripe, Mux, Webflow, Supabase, etc.) remain property of their respective owners and are referenced nominatively — no endorsement is implied.
Code snippets and widgets sold through FlutterFlow Marketplace are licensed under the marketplace's terms — not under these site terms.
4 — Client work
If we end up working together, the relationship is governed by:
- A written Statement of Work (SOW) signed by both parties, specifying scope, timeline, deliverables, pricing, and cancellation terms.
- The Monthly Retainer or Fixed-Scope Build template, customised for the engagement.
- Applicable laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina for contracts originated here.
No SOW = no engagement. Conversations on email or a call aren't binding by themselves.
5 — Availability & changes
The site is provided as-is. I can take it down, move hosts, change paths, remove articles, and restructure sections without notice. If something you linked to disappears, email me — I can usually fix it or send the archive.
6 — No warranty
Content on this site — including blog posts about architecture decisions, tool comparisons, and case study narratives — is shared for informational use. It's based on real projects and real implementation experience, but it's not professional advice for your specific situation. If you copy an architectural pattern from a post and it breaks in your context, that's on you. Hire me or another consultant if you need something reviewed for your case.
7 — Liability
To the extent permitted by law, I'm not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:
- The content on this site being wrong, incomplete, or out of date.
- The site being unreachable.
- Third-party links going bad.
- Any decision you make based on something I wrote here.
Direct liability, if any, is capped at whatever amount you paid me for a product sold through this site — which for a portfolio is generally zero.
8 — External links
Links to third-party sites (GitHub, LinkedIn, FlutterFlow marketplace, live client projects, etc.) are provided for convenience. Their content is not under my control and I don't endorse anything linked.
9 — Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Disputes that can't be resolved by direct conversation go to the competent courts in Banja Luka.
10 — Changes to these terms
I update these terms occasionally. The current version is always at this URL with a "Last updated" date. Material changes (new restrictions, scope changes) get a banner on the site for at least 14 days.
